Best hidden treasure ever. Touching, beautiful and fulfilling!! We became yearly members immediately upon completing our tour. My favorite is Dogwood Meadow. Everything is so innocent and full of life in the Meadow. We cannot wait to get back there!!
Very pleasant park, not too large. Easy walking. Good for children. NOT wheelchair accessible unless you are very strong. Paths are unpaved; NOT good for push chairs. The garden is still a work in progress; construction evident. We plan regular visits to watch its progress.
-Great place to visit with kids. Very friendly staff. There is a beautiful pond with a bridge that goes over it which is wonderful for taking photos.
I had my wedding there last month and it was absolutely gorgeous! The venue and their preferred vendors (hazelnut catering and ambassador tent rentals) were so accommodating! Colleen went above and beyond for us making sure the day went smoothly! Our day of coordinator that is not affiliated with the Garden was totally overwhelmed and Colleen saved the day! Over a month later and people are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was! I highly recommend having your wedding there!
-I look forward to seeing this place as it grows. Currently there aren't enough trails to keep you entertained for long, unless you don't mind repeating loops.
My daughter and I call this the Enchanted Garden. The trails lead to a variety of plant life and themes. We love to pretend that we are mermaids by the dock, fairies in storybook land, princesses at the castle, and bees going home to our hive (the gazebo). I love that we can our exercise our minds and legs here.
