My mother decided to use the card before it expired and scheduled a facial
She left thinking things were ok... and returned home to a voicemail from the police... SERIOUSLY?!?!?!!! she eventually straightened things out- spoke to the police, and had my dad drop the giftcard off the following day (mind you 40 mins away)... but really.. who does that?!
The giftcard still had a balance- but becuase I was pressed for time, i was unable to add an additional treatment
I had never had a swedish massage so I was excited to try the treatment
The spa is located 40 minutes from our home
I cannot speak for the people in the lower two reviews, but I have been to this spa several times and have enjoyed it every time. In high school I would go for facials here, always really helped keep my acne in check and made it look great for homecomings and prom! Highly recommend Aniko, she and her husband ( a chef) are so nice and polite. Loved the way my face glowed after I left, and I will continue coming here for amazing spa treatments.
She aplogized, but didnt see how it could be a true problem becuase it was prepaid and was due to expire within the week.
When her treatment was over she realized she had forgotten the giftcard...
I would not suggest this spa. I found the owner to be rude and unprofessional. I would expect that being a small town business in a struggling economy that she be more accomodating and professional, but that is not the case. Save your money for another spa!!

Unlike these two posters I had an EXCELLENT experience at Anikos!! My mom and I both got the hybrid nails and both turned out amazing. My appointment was in the afternoon and the owner was on time, professional, and answered all my questions! I had no issues with payment and was very happy with my results. Highly recommended!
She stated that it was ok- nothing special about it
So I suggest you take my advice... keep searching for another spa- this place definietly does not keep the customer in mind...

Aniko- the owner was very upset, my mom promised to mail her the card for her records if necessary and even left her phone number
My mom insisted I use the card while hoem for Thanksgiving break
I don't have much to compare it to but Im not sure how happy I would have been to have spent $60 on an experience that wasn't very outstanding
